Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delegated Authority Analyst to join our team at Markel International Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective conduct of delegated authority due diligence in alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence reviews of cover holders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure post-bind activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Governance team to guarantee regulatory standards are met for delegated business.
  • Support the Delegated Authority Manager and Senior Delegated Authority Analyst in various tasks related to delegated underwriting and claims.
  • Assist with the management of Service Company Arrangements globally.
  • Review line slip, consortium, and master policy arrangements to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support for cover holder audits and ensure all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Coordinate with the Underwriting Support Delegated data entry team to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Prepare information for committees and organizations as required.
  • Deputize for senior team members as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external audit reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Delegated Authority due diligence is essential.
  • Good understanding of Lloyd's and delegated authority requirements is necessary.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
