About the Role

As a Broker Support Specialist – Delegated Authority, you will play a vital role in assisting brokers, clients, and (re)insurers with the research, placement, and production of (re)insurance documentation. Your expertise will ensure that all processes adhere to market standards and procedures, delivering high-quality results that meet client needs.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with senior colleagues in the preparation of placement slips, endorsements, and contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support senior colleagues in developing underwriting submissions and information packs, providing comprehensive and accurate data to facilitate efficient decision-making.
  • Address coverage and contractual inquiries from brokers, clients, and (re)insurers, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide essential support throughout the new/renewal process of the placement cycle, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of delegated authority procedures and their application within the insurance industry.
  • Foster collaboration across global specialties, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
  • Conduct research for senior colleagues, enabling them to keep clients informed about developments affecting various product types.
  • Maintain proficiency in relevant systems and software applications used within the insurance sector.
