We are seeking a highly motivated Delegated Underwriting Authority Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our delegated authority programs.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough due diligence reviews of coverholders and binding authorities, including quality assurance checks.
    • Gather documentation from coverholders and market systems to maintain accurate records.
    • Monitor the renewal cycle for delegated facilities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual obligations.
    • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to address any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Maintain meticulous records within our dedicated coverholder and binding authority management tool.
    • Assist in managing the Coverholder Audit Schedule, coordinating audits and ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • A solid understanding of insurance principles and delegated arrangements is essential.
  • Strong project management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • A Level or equivalent education is required.
  • Pursuit of a CII qualification or equivalent in insurance is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and data processing skills are crucial for success in this role.

Experience:

  • Previous experience within the insurance or financial services industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
