The Role

This is a global role within the WTW Central Compliance Team, the successful candidate will work across all geographies and both WTW segments (Risk & Broking and Health, Wealth & Career) to:


• Act as a key contact in the global Central Compliance Team, dealing with queries, offering Compliance advice to the business and assessing regulatory risk in areas such as:


• Financial Promotions and similar marketing materials


• Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality


• Analyse Management Information in relation to the above risk areas to identify any trends and make recommendations as to any follow up work required.


• Assist with the oversight, support and training of our Central Compliance colleagues in Mumbai.


• Support global Central Compliance Team initiatives relating to:


• Policy management and implementation


• Regulatory strategy and horizon scanning


• Compliance issue and incident management


• Compliance technology projects (including Governance, Risk and Compliance tool)


• Compliance data and analytics


• Work closely with Compliance Officers globally, to support the wider Compliance objectives.


• Form strong relationships with the Business, Compliance Officers, Marketing, Financial Crime, Risk and Internal Audit functions.

The Requirements


• Experience of reviewing Financial Promotions and other marketing materials against regulatory requirements would be highly desirable, but not essential.


• Candidates with experience of working in marketing in a regulated environment and a desire to learn more about regulation would be considered.


• Experience working in Insurance and/or Investments is desirable


• Commercially aware; Experience of how Compliance requirements are applied in Businesses (via Group Policies and Standards) would be desirable.


• Fluent business English essential, must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and writing skills and be confident in articulating information, in a clear and concise manner, to staff at all levels.


• Proactive rather than reactive, highly driven to succeed and progress.


• Must be a team player with good interpersonal and influencing skills.


• Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines and without direct supervision.


• Organised and methodical.


• Excellent problem-solving skills.


• Can do attitude and embraces change.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
