Customer Service Coordinator

Salary: 12.50ph ph (Depending on experience)

Location: Basingstoke

Schedule: Permanent, full-time.

  • Office based, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
  • Friday - 8.00am - 2.00pm.

Reports to: Managing Director.

Company Profile:

Our client is a well-established precision engineering company, who specialise within the design and manufacturing of high precision components. Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Customer Service Coordinator to join their team.

Main duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Communicate technical support to customers.
  • Work closely with the engineering teams and production manager to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service from initial contact to delivery and after-sales support.
  • Liaising with the production manager to ensure that products are delivered on time.
  • Provide order status to our customers informing them of any changes to delivery dates.
  • Point of contact our customers, manage customer expectations and resolve issues.
  • Raising customer quotations.
  • Raising sales orders.
  • Raising internal contract review documentation.
  • Attend sales meetings and represent the sales department at production and project meetings.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities:

  • An interest in engineering is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Works well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, uses initiative and a team player.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confident speaking on the telephone.
  • Strong computer skills.
