Marsh McLennan (MMC) Tech has an opportunity for an experienced, UK based IT Change Management Specialist, to be based in our Bristol office.

We will look for your ServiceNow Change Management experience, to be a senior contributor to our global IT Change Management function.

Reporting to the Global Production Services Leader, responsible for IT Change Management, your focus will be as a technical lead assisting with the oversight of the function including the development & implementation of Change Management strategies and processes, using ServiceNow as our platform.

You'll play a key role in the successful implementation of IT changes and minimizing disruption to our systems and operations, as we accelerate our release cycles.

Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders from around the world, you will also assist with the development of a team of Change Managers.

As you will a senior contributor in a global team a degree of flexibility will be required in respect of your working hours.

What you need to have:

  • Solid experience in IT change management, with a focus on the delivery of a service orientated team.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL change management approaches & best practices.
  • Experience of governance reporting.
  • Experience in enhancing ITSM (IT Service Management) processes.

  • The experience and ability to assist in the further development of our change management strategies.
  • A strong background in IT based on experience working in a variety of roles across two or more of IT service management, project management, operations, application development and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience is several of these.
  • Experience of being a senior contributor in a global team of subject matter experts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification in ITIL or another relevant qualification.

We will rely on you to:

  • Monitor and track the progress of change requests.
  • Take a lead in developing and implementing effective change management strategies and processes, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the oversight of the development and maintenance of comprehensive change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • As needed chair, facilitate and manage the change advisory board (CAB) meetings which are to review and approve proposed changes, ensuring adherence to change management policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the provision of strategic guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the change management process.
  • Support the fostering of a culture of continuous improvement, evaluating and enhancing the change management process based on industry best practices and lessons learned.
  • Take the lead on the development, enhancement and implementation of specific Change Management governance processes and procedures as allocated by the Senior Manager responsible for the overall process.
  • Assist in the development and communicate the vision, goals, and objectives of the IT Change Management function.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in IT change management, incorporating new methodologies and tools as appropriate.
