A fast-paced, high-growth financial services business requires an HR Operations Manager on a 12 month basis. This innovative business has grown to 500 people across 3 locations, with HR based in London.

As the HR Operations Manager you will oversee a team of HR advisors, an HR administrator, an MI and Data analyst, as well as third-party outsource providers. You team will manage all HR operations, payroll, and benefits activities, ensuring smooth procedures and processes. Your role involves driving change and managing strategic and BAU HR projects, redesigning and streamlining processes, enhance efficiency and improve the employee experience. Additionally, you will oversee the transition and management of outsourced HR processes to ensure their successful implementation and ongoing success.

Key Objectives:

Align and Optimize HR Operations:
Collaborate with the HR team to outsource HR processes using a pre-identified provider.Redesign processes to align with company goals and improve efficiency and employee experience.Manage the outsourced provider through the BAU phase post-project completion.
Improve HRIS System Efficiency:
Extract efficiencies and review the HRIS system to ensure it remains fit for purpose.Oversee MI and reporting, manage third-party developers, and improve data quality and workflows to ensure accurate HR reporting.
Lead Operations Team and Ad-Hoc HR Projects:
Manage HR projects such as policy updates, HR data protection, and support for acquisitions or corporate finance activities.Deliver regular and ad-hoc MI and reporting through the MI and Benefits analyst.Ensure adherence to HR processes in activities like annual compensation and performance management.Manage payroll through the payroll outsource provider, aiming to transition this to the off-shored outsourcing company.Assist in HR and annual audits.
Skills and Experience:
Essential HR operations experience, including management of a teamRelevant experience in change management - experience managing an outsource provider is advantageous.Experience in the financial services sector is essential.Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth business - experience in a founder-led business is advantageous.Experience managing outsourced payroll and UK tax filings through third-party advisors is essential.Strong ability to build trust and work collaboratively with all levels and stakeholders in a complex, high-touch organisation.Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail maintaining a reputation for high quality workStrong analytical skills and executive presence - must be able to present/facilitate.
