Senior HR Operations Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available

The Senior HR Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, designed to foster collaboration across various divisions to facilitate a spectrum of operational and strategic human resources functions. This position plays a crucial part in advancing organization-wide initiatives and enhancing the overall People & Culture framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review and enhancement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are innovative and effective.
  • Address employee relations challenges with creative solutions, manage change effectively, and oversee the recruitment of essential personnel.
  • Champion the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) agenda, ensuring it is integrated into all HR practices.
  • Provide dynamic leadership and mentorship to the HR team, focusing on employee relations and promoting proactive interventions to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to assess staffing requirements and devise strategies for attracting, nurturing, and retaining high-caliber talent.
  • Instill organizational values throughout the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and making final hiring decisions.

Qualifications:

  • MCIPD qualified with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Extensive understanding of employment legislation and experience in a unionized setting.
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to align HR initiatives with overarching business goals.
  • Proven track record of utilizing management data to enhance organizational performance.
