Role Overview

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational HR support to Regional Directors and Area Managers, contributing to the execution of the regional people strategy.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner and be an integral member of the HR and People team, collectively driving the People Plan to enhance organizational effectiveness, engagement, and performance through various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR advice and support to Area Managers.
  • Collaborate effectively with Area Managers, offering coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
  • Assist the Regional Director and Senior HRBP in evaluating Area Manager performance and identifying areas for development.
  • Facilitate organizational change initiatives alongside regional management teams.
  • Support the rollout of key programs aimed at fostering cultural transformation and enhancing business performance, such as Performance Development and Engagement Surveys.
  • Assist the Regional Director in preparing for Regional Employee Forum meetings, including the development of presentations and agendas.
  • Actively engage in Regional Employee Forum meetings, addressing colleague concerns and driving action plans through Area Managers.
  • Support the planning of Regional Team Meetings to ensure clarity on regional objectives and priorities among area management.
  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to promote continuous improvement and build a cohesive HR team that effectively supports the business.

Candidate Profile

  • CIPD qualification and a degree are preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in an Ulrich business partner model and matrix organizational structure.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach as needed.
  • Proficient in managing complex issues and making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Effective planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Solid technical HR knowledge.
