Position Overview

JSS Search is a prominent independent retailer with a global footprint. We are seeking an HR Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position will report directly to the Chief People Officer and will be part of a compact yet expanding HR team. You will oversee the HR functions for the UK division, which comprises approximately 50-70 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing both the tactical and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Creating an employee experience that aligns with the organization's culture and core values.
  • Handling all operational HR aspects, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance, while also providing guidance to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Offering strategic HR insights regarding organizational structure, vision, and overall effectiveness.
  • Identifying and addressing the need for employee training and development, retention strategies, succession planning, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Managing the HR budget effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partner or Manager capacity.
  • Experience in the Retail, FMCG, or Consumer sectors is essential.
  • CIPD qualification is required.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • Previous experience in a standalone HR role is necessary.

A genuine interest in the Retail sector is crucial.

This role requires a presence in the office five days a week.
