The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting the team in producing monthly accounts, VAT returns, bank reconciliations and credit control. This position is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Due to rural office location, it is essential to be a driver with full access to a vehicle.
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Managing cashbooks.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Updating and maintaining exchange rates for financial transactions.
  • Supporting the monthly payroll process.
  • Addressing finance-related queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Undertaking general office administration as required. Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
    • Must possess own means of transportation due to the office's location.
