Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex

We are seeking a full-time, qualified educator with QTS, EYTS, EYPS, or a Level 6 early years qualification to contribute to our Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool. Formerly known as Rose Bud Nursery, our establishment is situated in a vibrant community with a local park nearby, offering children opportunities to explore and engage with their surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement engaging learning experiences and exceptional care that cater to the developmental needs of all children Conduct accurate assessments that reflect the individual needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child, supporting the key person approach Ensure a stimulating and inspiring environment with consistent activities for children, both indoors and outdoors Foster and maintain strong partnerships with parents and caregivers Uphold child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding standards Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment

Qualifications and Skills Required

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification Previous experience in the Early Years sector is essential Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage A genuine passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents Proficient in using various communication techniques with children and adults Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements for working with children
