Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our children, while promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development and learning
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, while promoting safeguarding and child protection practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive environment
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements
