We are seeking to recruit 2 full-time permanent Adoption Social Workers within Barnardo's South East Adoption Service. We work with adopters across London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Herts,Kent, Surrey and Sussex. We are looking for Social Workers who are committed, dynamic and forward-thinking to join our established team in working with families across London and the SE. As a Social Worker you will be part of a team of adoption social workers and family finders who assess prepare and support prospective adoptive families to meet the needs of children with an adoption plan.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and innovative Voluntary adoption service where you will have the opportunity to further develop a successful child-focussed service, making a real difference to the lives of children and adoptive families across London and the SE. This is a home based role although we utilise a number of Hub offices across our area to enable the staff team to keep in touch, to facilitate face to face meetings and maintain contact with adopters and to host Adoption Panel .
