Playground Games is looking for a Media Services Producer to join our Fable team on a permanent basis.

As a first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun. We are excited to be rebooting the much-loved Fable franchise and are expanding our diverse team to create a new classic in the action RPG genre.

About the role:

Playground Games is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Media Services Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital content creation, project management, and multimedia production. As a Digital Media Producer, you will be responsible for managing the production of digital content across various platforms, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This is a permanent role based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa, with a hybrid work model in place. Relocation assistance is available if required.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and own the digital media roadmaps and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with quality standards.
  • Manage the teams that develop, produce, and edit high-quality digital content including videos, podcasts, social media content, web content, and interactive media.
  • Oversee the entire production process from concept to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams including marketing, design, game development teams, and external vendors to ensure cohesive content strategies and execution.
  • Contribute to the development of digital media strategies that align with company goals and target audience needs.
  • Ensure all digital content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform specifications.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of digital content, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on data-driven metrics.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in a Production role within the game or film industry.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exposure to a range of project management software packages.
  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling and visual design skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A good grasp of art, game design and technical fundamentals, including console platform considerations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Risk management experience.
