Infection Prevention and Control Role

At Nuffield Health, we are seeking a skilled Infection Prevention and Control Professional to join our team at Warwickshire Hospital. As an Infection Prevention Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control across our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the lead microbiologist and support the Director of Clinical Services as the DIPC
  • Manage the infection prevention audit schedule and lead our infection prevention link team
  • Produce an annual Infection Prevention programme and train the clinical and non-clinical team
  • Facilitate the quality assurance review and produce the annual infection prevention report
  • Assist with policy development, carrying out action plans and improving best practice
  • Support clinical governance in the hospital
