As the Director of Live Services, you will spearhead the Live Services team, collaborating closely with the Publishing Director as part of the studio's Project Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with publishing, design, and production to conceptualize, launch, and oversee all facets of our live service.
  • Articulate and share the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our live service with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and communicate competitive research, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Transform user requirements and business objectives into actionable product specifications and features.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure features are delivered as per the outlined specifications.
  • Identify growth opportunities for product performance, prioritizing and managing the product backlog to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality enhancements.
  • Establish and drive core live service KPIs in partnership with Publishing and Development teams.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in product management, game economy modeling, and/or live service design focused on feature development and operational management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a talented team.
  • Strong data analysis skills with a history of collaborating with analytics teams and utilizing analytical tools.
  • Diverse experience across various game types, genres, and business models.
  • Ability to balance data-driven insights with creative problem-solving.
  • In-depth understanding of industry trends and the Games as a Service (GaaS) landscape.
  • Capability to conceptualize and enhance game systems, features, and mechanics.
  • Experience working across publishing and development functions, comfortable engaging with studio leadership.
