Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Live-In Care Assistant. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day companionship and support to clients, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, cleaning, and organization of client's space.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a care setting, such as a care home, domiciliary care, or other care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients and the organization.
  • Validated qualifications in care or a related field, such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care or a Certificate in Care.
