Cancer Services Director Opportunity

Nuffield Health | Oncology | Permanent | Full time |

Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We're a leading healthcare charity dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As our Clinical Head of Department, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact on our Oncology patients' lives while shaping the highest standard of care.

As Cancer Services Director at our hospital, you'll bring extensive knowledge of managing cancer patients throughout the cancer pathway. You have at least four years' senior experience and a postgraduate qualification relating to cancer care, and ideally, a qualification in teaching or assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SACT Day Unit and oversee the whole cancer pathway within the hospital
  • Lead, motivate, educate and supervise our nursing and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support colleagues to deliver clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Influence service development, policies and strategies to create the best patient-focused, holistic treatment and care
  • Contribute to audits and clinical governance, infection prevention, health and safety, and risk analysis
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals and patients
