About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cancer Services Lead to join our team at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for leading the SACT Day Unit and overseeing the entire cancer pathway within the hospital.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the SACT Day Unit and oversee the whole cancer pathway within the hospital
  • Lead, motivate, educate and supervise our nursing and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support colleagues to deliver clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Influence service development, policies and strategies to create the best patient-focused, holistic treatment and care
  • Contribute to audits and clinical governance, infection prevention, health and safety, and risk analysis
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals and patients

Person Specification

Essential

  • At least four years' senior experience in managing cancer patients throughout the cancer pathway
  • Postgraduate qualification relating to cancer care, and ideally, a qualification in teaching or assessment
  • Relevant post-registration experience
