Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Live Services Director to lead our Live Services team, reporting to the Publishing Director as part of our Project Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, building, launching, and managing all aspects of our live service, working closely with publishing, design, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Live Service Strategy and Vision
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive vision and strategy for our live service, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Define and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our live service.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Lead a high-performing team of live services professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to drive team growth and development.
- Product Development and Operations
- Work closely with development teams to ensure features are implemented according to specifications and meet the required quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for product performance growth and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product feature improvements.
- Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including publishing, design, and production teams.
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, game economy modeling, and/or live service design.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
- Skills
- Strong data fluency and analytical skills, with experience working with analytical tools.
- Ability to bridge the gap between data-driven and creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, game development, or business administration.
