Core Duties of the Position

Deliver a comprehensive, high-level communications and engagement service for Innovate Healthcare Services by directly supporting the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) initiative and the wider Business Support Team.

Essential elements of the role include:

Supporting the formulation and execution of the communications and engagement strategy for the EPR initiative.

Independently create, implement, and assess EPR communications and engagement materials.

Facilitate direct engagement with stakeholders to raise awareness of the EPR initiative and its implications for their roles.

Provide expert communications and marketing insights to the program teams, acting as a communications authority.

Develop and produce communication and engagement content and materials.

Assist the Head of Communications & Business Support in the daily management and coordination of communications and engagement efforts (both internal and external).

Collaborate with the communications and engagement teams at partner organizations to ensure a unified and strategic approach to EPR communications.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the execution of the overall communications and engagement strategy for the EPR, emphasizing service enhancement and user experience.

Create clear, persuasive, informative, and accessible communication materials for both internal and external audiences, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.

Generate content for various communication platforms (both print and digital), including training resources, social media materials, and communication toolkits.

Represent the Communications and Engagement workstream at relevant program boards.

Develop and maintain an EPR website and ensure it remains current.

Spearhead the creation of internal and external EPR communications and engagement strategies as needed by program workstreams.

Provide regular updates on EPR communications and engagement for internal and external stakeholders (including face-to-face interactions).

Organize and manage communication campaigns effectively.

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, press conferences, photo opportunities, and visits.

Design and deliver engagement initiatives for stakeholders (such as workshops and meetings).

Organize and lead internal events to foster community spirit.

Provide timely and relevant expert advice on internal and external communications and engagement.

Produce communication materials, including copywriting, proofreading, and collaborating with designers and printers.

Maintain and update databases of key stakeholders in collaboration with the Programme Support Office (PSO) as necessary.

Work with project leads to establish key performance indicators for communication and engagement initiatives, measuring effectiveness against agreed metrics to inform future strategies.

Lead the production of an EPR newsletter by gathering content, writing, and designing it in accordance with branding guidelines.

Assist with EPR recruitment marketing efforts.
