This opportunity is in our B2B Marketing team, providing a role with a focus on Event Management and delivery including some aspects of digital Marketing.

The Goodyear B2B Marketing team has responsibility for Commercial/Truck tyres and off-the-road (OTR) tyres.

THE ROLE

  • To assist and support the Marketing Manager to deliver the UK & Ireland Marketing Calendar which will cover the full marketing mix where the need requires.
  • You will support the Marketing Manager in the project planning and execution on event management requirements, coordinating activities on the day of the event and implement backup plans when necessary. As part of the role you will manage all customer invitation and post event lead generation follow up and post event evaluations. Organising and executing various events, including Hillhead, Drive Results Roadshow, Network Council Meetings, and Motor Transport Awards and any other events the business requires
  • Negotiate and liaise with numerous vendors/suppliers to deliver event requirements, setting deadlines and creating objectives for the events
  • Liaise with our key marketing agencies to develop any required promotional materials to support the event, including any artwork and print. Delivering campaigns on time and in full
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety guidelines and Risk Assessment completion for all events
  • Provide weekly project updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of the departments activities, including purchase order management and budget tracking, magazine subscription and merchandise management.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly marketing messages to key internal stakeholders and produce relevant updates for the monthly Customer contact strategy communications plan. To cover social channels such as, LinkedIn (Goodyear Truck & Bus Mobility
  • Europe), and goodyear Now (Goodyear's internal online communications app) including executing customer communications and event invites through Brevo, our CRM marketing communications tool.
  • Attendance and representative of UK Commercial Marketing on regional and internal meetings

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2:1 in marketing or a businessrelated degree.
  • Experience in all Microsoft packages including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure every aspect of the event is perfect
  • Excellent multitasking and task prioritisation skills
  • Strategic, analytical and able to work independently.
  • Capable of using your own initiative and be proactive with strong problem solving skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and confidence to use Company pool cars is essential.
  • Must have ability to be able to stay away from home for short periods of time
  • Must have experience in event or hospitality management, project management and supplier/vendor management. Social content development is desirable.
