We are seeking a visionary marketing leader ready to transition into a pivotal role as Head of B2B Marketing. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Revenue & Marketing and requires a candidate with substantial experience in Salesforce, preferably within sectors such as engineering, utilities, or facilities management. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing team, establishing a robust lead generation pipeline, and ensuring data visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the UK market to identify growth opportunities and potential risks, with a focus on market share and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Enhance brand visibility and communicate the advantages of our solutions across targeted markets to facilitate lead generation.
  • Differentiate our brand in the marketplace to foster buyer preference, thereby driving sales growth and improving margins.
  • Translate business line strategies effectively, engaging audiences at all levels within the market and customer base.
  • Develop and implement an innovative marketing strategy that combines creativity and operational effectiveness, ensuring our offerings and business objectives are compellingly communicated.
  • Safeguard and enhance the company's reputation through strategic external communications, collaborating with public relations teams.
  • Utilize insights and reporting to track pipeline opportunities and demonstrate progress against business goals.
  • Establish conditions conducive to nurturing qualified prospects into opportunities through effective inbound and outbound marketing techniques.
  • Share best practices across operational and group levels.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional influencing and persuasion abilities, particularly at the executive level.
  • Capability to create a vision and lead a large, senior team.
  • Experience in driving complex strategies across various business functions, including communications, sales, and training.
  • Ability to comprehend intricate market and service offerings and translate them into relevant customer solutions.
  • Exemplify the company's values and foster a coaching culture that promotes belonging and unlocks potential.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, ensuring resources are optimally allocated to achieve business objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align on marketplace, customer, and business needs that drive financial growth.
  • Oversee the operational budget for the marketing function.

Experience Required

  • Proven track record in Marketing Leadership at a Head of or Director level.
  • Experience in shaping the strategic direction of marketing and business development.
  • Background in new product/service development and crafting compelling proposals for strategic clients.
  • Experience in P&L and budget management.
  • Experience in engineering, large-scale manufacturing, or high-tech industries is highly advantageous.
  • Professional qualifications in marketing and relevant professional memberships.
