If you do, this role is perfect for you Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Housing Support Worker on a Permanent basis at our Islington complex needs services in London.


A bit about the role:


As a Housing Support Worker you will be supporting and enabling vulnerable people to sustain a tenancy living within the community through providing practical and emotional support to encourage tenants to take an active part in the community.

Some of the key results for the role include:

  • Supporting adults who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals through person centred support
  • Working with the team in supporting customers to achieve their goals and step down or move on from the services
  • Managing your own caseload, update internal systems, complete risk/need assessments and supporting customers to attend meetings
  • Communicating with external services and internal teams, following up on actions, completing incident reports, raising safeguarding cases and supporting customers with daily living tasks and tenancy management
  • Monitoring Health & Safety, repairs and tasks related to assessing new referrals to the service


You will work on a rota including variable evenings, weekends and bank holidays with shifts ranging from: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm and 2pm-10pm.


_ This role will require a Enhanced DBS check._
