About the Role:
Hestia Housing Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults in our Approved Premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and supervision to residents, promoting a positive and respectful culture within the service.
- Engage in rehabilitative activities with residents, including group and one-to-one sessions, to help them achieve their goals and reintegrate into the community.
- Model pro-social behavior and attitudes, encouraging residents to adopt positive values and behaviors.
- Monitor and maintain the health, safety, and security of the Approved Premises, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for residents.
- Collaborate with other agencies and services to provide comprehensive support to residents.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults, preferably those with a history of involvement in the Criminal Justice System.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents and colleagues effectively.
