About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pool Worker at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to our residents in our Male Approved Premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Pro-Social Behaviour: Demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors, promoting a culture of respect among residents and colleagues.
  • Engage with Residents: Actively participate in activities, supervise meal times, and be present in communal areas to foster a sense of community.
  • Contribute to Sentence Plans: Collaborate with colleagues, probation officers, and external agencies to deliver rehabilitative activities and support residents in achieving their goals.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Assist colleagues in preparing, facilitating, and evaluating rehabilitative activities, ensuring accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Monitor and maintain the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and hygiene of the Approved Premises, ensuring the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Monitor Resident Well-being: Utilize information sharing, CCTV, direct observation, and other methods to ensure the well-being of residents and address any concerns promptly.
  • Initiative and Adaptability: Identify and address additional tasks or issues as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
