We are currently looking to hire a Director, Institutional Sales Business Management.

This role is responsible for working with sales management and key stakeholders to improve the understanding of Institutional Client needs and define specific client strategies.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for working in partnership with stakeholders across the Global Business (Sales & Trading) and other functions to define and help on the execution of strategic initiatives / business development plans for institutional sales globally and for the asset class specifically
· Perform reviews of the product sales structure, identify headcount requirements and help to onboard Sales candidates, as well as provide cost transparency to the global sales product head
· Work with sales & partners to ensure a smooth business operation and proactively manage issues
· Ensure global connectivity of Sales / product partners and keep the global head updated on regional developments
· Manage Sales governance processes like ExCos, townhalls, as well as contribute to wider product update reviews, to ensure management and stakeholders are kept updated on developments
· Proactively drive key technology / platform development initaitves & investments with product partners
· Coordinate with 1st and 2nd line of defence partners to make sure we manage, limit, and control our risks in the sales business
· This role is responsible for working closely with other business partners in the bank, which can include Global Banking, Asset Management, WPB, and Securities Services to drive collaboration across GBM and the entire bank
· Work with central regulatory teams to implement changes in the business related the regulatory agenda. This includes putting in place effective governance structures and processes, and helping to defining global risk and control standards
· This role is responsible for ensuring effective governance structures and processes are in place, defining global risk and control standards for Global Markets
· Develop communication and training and development across Institutional Sales
· Coverage includes the support of both BAU business requirements and change initiatives
· Contribute to Junior development and diversity initiatives

Requirements

· The job requires a strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape and resulting control frameworks
· Fixed Income background and experience is preferred
· The requires COO/ Business Management knowledge and experience
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
