Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Director to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand our existing client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand the existing client base.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and the fund ecosystem, understanding their investment objectives, risk appetite, and FX requirements.
  • Research and identify potential institutional clients with cross-border payment, FX, and FX hedging needs.
  • Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that meet their international payment needs and Forex requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
  • Leverage Ebury's global footprint to service clients in a truly global way.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales management within FX, cross-border financial services, or corporate services selling to institutional clients in the UK.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, numerical, and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and a good understanding of the fund space.
  • Strong understanding of institutional FX markets, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Based in Toronto.
