**HR Information Analyst (Metrics and Reporting)

£25-35,000 per annum dependent on experience

Contract type:
Two years fixed term in the first instance

Central Headington, parking available

Working pattern:
4 days per week in the office, 1 day from home

Reed are pleased to support a large department of a well known educational institute, partnering in the recruitment campaign as they seek to appoint a HR Information Analyst with a focus upon metrics and reporting, to support their HR Centre of Excellence.


As the HR Information Analyst, you will work closely with the HR Operations Manager and Head of HR, to provide analytical metric and reporting support for various initiatives across the HR function.


You will extract, analyse, produce and deliver routine and ad-hoc HR data and management information, distributing to stakeholders in the department necessary.

The position will develop a suite of HR data that is meaningful and demonstrates focus and volumesvia dashboard technology that can be shared, to enable effective organisational development.


  • Providing analysis and insight into HR metrics and data, presenting to key stakeholders to influence decision making
  • Developing a robust process for ensuring the migration of data across various functions such as Grants, Finance & HR, identifying key themes
  • Gathering and compiling HR metrics from a variety of sources, including the current HRIS systems (PeopleXD), Discoverer, Tableau, payroll, employee engagement surveys, exit interviews, employment records, benchmarking data and other sources
  • Supporting the implementation of HR policy and procedure by providing necessary data


You will also work closely with the HR Operations Manager, to develop metrics surrounding the team, in order to provide meaningful dashboard information to stakeholders, to clearly and concisely identify trends and patterns, with attention to recruitmentand onboarding, employee motivation, absence, diversity, turnover and compliance.

The HR Information Analyst will also partner closely with the Head of HR and EDI partners in addition.


In addition, it is essential that you have demonstrable HR experience, prior experience of supporting the employee lifecycle, and an understanding of generalist HR practices.

CIPD Level 3 would be desirable, but not essential.
