Duties:


  • Take on the Project Manager role for the RadNet grant and any other significant grants as delegated from time to time.
  • Supporting the Director and senior academics staff to develop projects to meet funder requirements.
  • Supporting the Director and senior academics with grant writing, proof reading and editing of grant submissions including leading on the coordination all nonscientific documentation.
  • Supporting the Director and senior academics in compiling documentation and reports to meet funders' midterm and annual scientific reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the Director and senior academics in writing and developing scientific documents including generating text and figures/infographics.
  • To prepare, edit and proofread abstracts, presentations, conference materials and other documentation as required
  • Ensuring compliance of grant activity with funder terms and conditions with regard to communications, branding and reporting.
  • Outcomes and objectives monitoring for a portfolio of projects to support the reporting process including the use of bespoke databases and Symplectic.
  • Developing impact narratives around outcomes to support the Institute's communications strategy.
  • Identification of funding opportunities and determination of eligibility criteria and remit.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold an MSc, or equivalent qualification, in a biomedical discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team working and networking skills and experience of interfacing confidently, confidentially and credibly with junior and senior staff across large higher education institution(s) or similar complex organization(s).
  • Excellent written and oral communication with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable experience of generating infographic and/or figures for scientific documents
  • Highly computer literate and proficient using MS, databases, and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and proven relevant administrative experience in a similarly varied role(s)
  • Experience of working independently, flexibly and cooperatively, with minimum supervision including working under pressure, prioritizing tasks and multiple deadlines.
