It is ideally suited to candidates wishing to work in a large teaching hospital which provides many specialist services and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in neonatology.

Participating in a 1 in 15 full shift rota, which includes nights and twilights. This post will deliver care to neonatal patients on the neonatal unit and postnatal wards. You would be liaising with colleagues in other specialties and hospitals, seeing acutely sick babies and clerking in new patients, composing discharge summaries and requesting investigations.

As the holder of this role you will be expected to assist on the neonatal unit and postnatal wards as well as providing on-call cover. We offer comprehensive educational and clinical supervision for every doctor and encourage participation in quality improvement and research.

Applicants must have full GMC registration.
