Maintenance Operative - Multi-Skilled - Required in Cobham

Your new company:
Hays are partnered with an globally recognised school, that are looking for a Maintenance Operative to begin immediately.
(Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check)

Responsibilities include:

Carry out general maintenance tasks across the campus encompassing decoration, carpentry and lock repairs, basic plumbing, replacing fixtures and fittingEnsure that materials required to carry out maintenance works are procured via the Maintenance Manager in a timely mannerEnsure that all personal protective equipment and tools are maintained in good working orderAdhere to ACS health and safety policies and risk assessmentsProvide immediate assistance (outside of work hours) in case of emergencies
What you need to succeed:
  • A trade qualification or minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance of buildings
  • Competently skilled and knowledgeable about plumbing, tiling, carpentry and decoration
  • Knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling and general Health and Safety legislation
  • Full UK driving licence.
