We are looking for a passionate individual to work in the National Counter Trafficking Centre. Barnardo's National Counter Trafficking Centre runs services across England and Wales. This includes the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship Service , a statutory provision set out in Section 48 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 .

We are recruiting to the role of Supervisor to work within our service. The the role w ill be Home Based with potential for extensive travel. If you are interested in applying for the role, you must live within a 40 miles radius of one of the area's stated below and you must have a current driving licence and use of a car: 

Greater London  West and North Yorkshire  Greater Manchester Merseyside  West Midlands [inc Bristol and Gloucestershire] East Midlands South East and Isle of White  Wales 

 Our Supervisors are responsible for:

Line management for up to 8 Support Workers, Independent Child Trafficking Guardians with a focus on continuous development; managing personal supervision and reviews alongside the effective management of sickness and performance. Oversight and monitoring of national and regional allocations and practitioner's caseloads. Supporting staff to ensure that ICTG Service recording requirements are met. Supporting staff in the identification, management, and response of safeguarding actions. Ensuring that staff are supported to manage children's transitions through the ICTG Service with a focus on integrating children into support systems within regional networks. Supporting colleagues to ensure that children's voices are heard and listened to within planning and decision making. Managing a caseload of up to 15 young people at times of need. Contributing to the development and delivery of national awareness raising sessions. Contributing to the national out of hours on call rota
