Objective:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our National Counter Trafficking Centre. Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of young individuals impacted by modern slavery? The National Counter Trafficking Centre operates services throughout England and Wales, including the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship Service, established under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We are looking for a Supervisor to lead within our service. This role will be primarily home-based, with opportunities for significant travel. Candidates must reside within a specified radius and possess a valid driving license along with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor include:

  • Providing line management for up to 8 Support Workers and Independent Child Trafficking Guardians, focusing on continuous professional development, personal supervision, and performance management.
  • Overseeing national and regional allocations and monitoring practitioners' caseloads.
  • Assisting staff in meeting the recording requirements of the ICTG Service.
  • Supporting staff in identifying and managing safeguarding actions.
  • Ensuring staff facilitate children's transitions through the ICTG Service, integrating them into regional support networks.
  • Advocating for children's voices to be heard in planning and decision-making processes.
  • Managing a caseload of up to 15 young individuals during peak times.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of national awareness initiatives.
  • Participating in the national out-of-hours on-call rota.

This position is a fixed-term contract.
