The Senior Pharmacist- Clinical, Education & Training assists the Principal Pharmacists, in managing and co-ordinating both the clinical pharmacy and education and training services at the Barnet Hospital Site.

Main duties of the job

Duties include:

Leading on the training and induction of clinical pharmacy staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported to carry out their duties at ward level To act as the Educational Programme Director for the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice at Barnet Hospital. To act as the pharmacy simulation lead for Barnet Hospital. Collaborating with other senior staff to ensure the delivery of an integrated pharmacy service, assisting with the implementation of strategic plans for the development of junior staff. Participating in medicine related clinical audits, research and development and development of trust-wide guidelines Supporting the delivery of Continuing Professional Development programme for pharmacists. Co-ordination of education and training given by pharmacy to other healthcare professionals

To support the implementation of the Pharmacy Workforce Plan.
