Children's Hospice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced or senior Band 5 nurse to join our Specialist Care Team at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a paediatric nurse, you will care for children who are staying with us at The Ark and those visiting us for day care. You will also support children in their family homes and in community-settings, providing families with choice and adapting our support to meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Care for children who are staying with us at The Ark and those visiting us for day care
- Support children in their family homes and in community-settings
- Work as part of our Specialist Care Team to provide clinical, emotional, and practical support to families
- Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of each child and their family
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support
Noah's Ark Children's Hospice is a leading provider of paediatric palliative care in north and central London, as well as Herts Valley. Our state-of-the-art children's hospice building, The Ark, offers a range of facilities and services to support children and their families, including a hydrotherapy pool, overnight suites, and a Woodland Walk through a 7-acre nature reserve.

Requirements- Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch
- Relevant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 5 level
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide individualised care and support
- Experience of working with children with life-limiting conditions and their families
