We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Podiatrist to join our team at Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist foot care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality podiatry services to patients, including routine and complex foot care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high standards of care.
- Provide education and training to junior staff and students.
- BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior to 1992).
- Health Professions Council (HPC) registration.
- Certificate in local anaesthesia.
- Evidence of post-graduate continued development.
- Evidence of study or intention to study to master's level qualification.
- Experience of working at a band 6 level or above in an acute hospital setting with a high risk caseload.
- Experience of multidisciplinary and interagency working.
- Experience of working with a wide range of patient and disease/pathology types.
- Awareness/experience of setting & maintaining clinical standards and clinical audit.
- Evidence of contribution to change within the workplace.
