Senior Nurse Position at Signature Senior Lifestyle

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Signature Senior Lifestyle. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a defined area of the home, making care decisions, and providing personal care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day running of your care area
  • Providing personal care to residents
  • Leadership and guidance to the care team
  • Managing monthly routine medication and supervising the care team when delivering this
  • Responding to any and all emergency situations
  • Acting as a named nurse for individual residents, focusing on their needs assessments and personal care plans, reviewing these bi-monthly in line with Signature policy
  • Developing strong relationships with residents to involve them in decisions about their care
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Acting as a role model for all staff and mentoring the care services team

Requirements:

  • Active NMC registration
  • Awareness of CQC regulations
  • Working knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations
  • Post-registration qualifications are a big advantage
