Children's Hospice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced or senior Band 5 nurse to join our Specialist Care Team at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to children who are staying with us at The Ark and those visiting us for day care. You will also support children in their family homes and in community-settings, providing families with choice and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to children who are seriously unwell, including those with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the Specialist Care Team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
- Support children and their families in their homes and community-settings, providing education and guidance on care and management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to paediatric palliative care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of care services.

Requirements- Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch.
- Relevant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 5 level.
- Previous team nursing/management experience or experience of supporting students, junior staff nurses or support workers.
- Experience in leading a multiskilled workforce or team or evidence of leadership of a multiskilled workforce/team with support from lead nurse.
