RESPONSIBLE TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER


SALARY: £28,000 per annum



BRIEF SUMMARY OF MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:


To co-ordinate and process applications for the LISS/CSCS cards including telephone enquiries/queries

Support the LISS/CSCS scheme and input as required to ensure it meets the requirements of the industry including introduction of new cards, support given with the development of new qualifications and updating of the BALI website

To co-ordinate and process the provision of quality measuring services to members (and non-members), specifically ROLO, NHSS18 and ISO 9001:2015


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


MAIN ROLE - Facilitate the ROLO & LISS/CSCS skills card scheme

Provide excellent customer service support to clients requiring help and support on the route to getting the LISS/CSCS cards, guide them through the process.

To identify relevant degrees and the applicable sector using the thirds rule, to enable applicant to obtain the relevant LISS/CSCS card.

Keep an up-to-date list of qualifications needed within the database to obtain a LISS/CSCS card.

Work with the marketing team to ensure any updates are made to the website.

Support the membership team where required to set up new ROLO online courses to enable Training Providers to deliver ROLO online and provide support to them.

Monitor the QA of ROLO online courses and carry out invigilation of courses as required.

Ensure validation of ROLO certificate claim forms and answer grids meet the ROLO certification process.

Process when required ROLO certificates, and LISS/CSCS cards, within the given turnaround times, whilst maintaining an accurate database.

Provide a weekly report on the number of LISS/CSCS cards and ROLO certificates that have been processed.

Be available to answer all queries relating to ROLO/LISS/CSCS giving accurate information.

Promote ROLO and the LISS/CSCS scheme route, to maximise uptake of both.

Attend relevant meetings as and when required should ROLO/LISS/CSCS be a key issue at that meeting.

Work closely with direct reports to ensure they are working to set objectives ensuring that systems are in place through regular assessments and evaluation of their performance, introducing training measures or counselling as and when required.

Working with the Technical Officer – Policy & Research, keep up to date with current changes relating to Health & Safety Issues and new legislation that might affect the continuity of the ROLO courses.

Review income on a quarterly and annual basis and produce relevant reports.

Facilitate the review of the ROLO H&S course support materials, ensuring they are up to date at all times.

Working with the Marketing department review and input into LISS/CSCS and ROLO marketing materials annually.

Working with industry to identify new qualifications/courses, review and manage where necessary the mapping of them to the relevant cards.

Utilising past data, review, analyse and identify trends, reporting annually on outcomes to Operations Manager.

Undertake responsibilities associated with the sector scheme administration of NHSS18

Establish and maintain necessary records and database.

Facilitate the NHSS18 meetings providing full secretariat support, to include agenda, minutes and follow up actions (full committee, training group and tri party group meetings) and input into those meetings when relevant.

Facilitate the production of support materials for the relevant meetings.

Attend relevant meetings as directed by the Chief Executive/Operations Manager.

Maximise opportunities to promote sector scheme 18.

To perform all other duties that would be consistent with the level of position that the Operations Manager would view as reasonable.

OTHER DUTIES

1. Answer telephone calls when needed.

2. Maintain good housekeeping within set guidelines.

3. Health & Safety responsibilities to other co-workers should be adhered to.

4. Attend Exhibitions/ Shows and events and meetings as and when required.
