We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the control and delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the construction process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client requirements.
- Manage and coordinate the work of site teams, including laborers, engineers, and other support staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, procurement, and commercial, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and find solutions.
- Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including design, procurement, and commercial.
