About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Mail Delivery Professional with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve delivery targets and goals

Requirements

  • Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.54
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
  • Full uniform provided
