Planet Pharma are partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company assisting them with the search for an Events Coordinator for an initial 12+ month hybrid project based in Hampshire.


The organization is seeking a dynamic Strategic Events Coordinator. The successful candidate will own the Hub Internal Meeting strategy and closely partner with brand, sales, medical teams to create exceptional employee experiences.


The role aims to create synergies both strategically and financially, ensuring internal meetings are efficient, effective, and aligned with organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management and execution skills and the ability to work collaboratively with numerous cross-functional partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop yearly meeting strategy based on the organization's strategic objectives and key business initiatives.
  • Facilitate the alignment of all meeting content and agendas to support organizational goals and priorities.
  • Partner with brand teams to bring their vision and desired experiences to life for annual and launch meetings.

Project Management & Operational Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of internal meetings, ensuring compliance with local industry codes of practice and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Forecast and register meetings using appropriate tools, in accordance with Meetings Logistics Lead Times.
  • Develop and manage the budget for internal meetings, including new sales training, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of meetings and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices for meeting management and coordination, leveraging new tools and technologies as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal meeting-related inquiries.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, meeting coordination, or project management.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and meeting scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).


Preference:

  • Previous healthcare/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
