Work Period: 3 Days a week / Flexible (Open to Full-Time for the right candidate)
Have you experience in the Construction industry and have developed business by networking with Architects, Contractors, Developers on bespoke roofing/ fenetration's projects in exciting Resiential and Commerical projects? Then this could be the perfect match for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Targeting new customers and markets: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Establishing and developing existing low or lapsed customers: Re-engage and grow relationships with dormant or low-activity clients.
- Creating demand for our extensive portfolio of products with B2B clients: Promote and sell the company’s products to business clients.
Main Duties:
- Proactively develop new business opportunities to increase market share through regular outreach, targeting both prospective clients and dormant accounts.
- Deliver effective and powerful sales presentations (including CPDs) to new and prospective clients.
- Improve awareness of the company’s reputation, products, and services throughout targeted areas, identifying short and long-term growth potentials.
- Devise annual strategic sales plans and goals, maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Develop strong and professional customer relationships, providing technical customer support as necessary.
- Monitor and report on activities, keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly activity reports, monthly and annual territory analyses, pipelines, etc.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge for both the company’s products and competitor products.
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Collect and communicate customer enquiry requirements to all necessary departments.
Requirements and Skills:
- Exceptional communication/ negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong and proven track record of business development.
- Ability to evaluate the strength of leads to maintain a clear and realistic pipeline.
- Ability to work remotely and manage own workload.
- Commercially savvy with a sophisticated, confident sales and presentation style.
- Excellent spoken English and flexible communication skills for interfacing with suppliers and customers of various backgrounds.
- Excellent written and reporting skills.
- Strong IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Maintain the company CRM database by checking and cleaning contact records, updating notes and actions, and entering new data as required.
