Sales Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our team in St Neots. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global brand operating in over 40 countries, with a reputation for delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.
About the Role
- As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and driving sales revenues across one of our product portfolios
- You will work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new clients
- You will also be responsible for maintaining high service levels to current customers, focussing on building strong relationships to aid retention
Responsibilities
- Account manage an agreed set of clients, maximising on opportunities to increase market share and cross sell/upsell additional products
- Proactively identify future clients and make them aware of your products and services, building a pipeline for the future
- Prospect for new accounts through referrals, suppliers, social media and industry publications
- Analyse and react to customer spending habits to ensure the correct products and services are being offered
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of sales success in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £27,000 - £30,000 basic salary with an OTE of approx. £42,000. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
