Location: London - With frequent remote working.
Job description:
The Bid Writer will take ownership of technical submittals (selection questionnaires and written tender responses) and examine our proposition in each, looking to challenge the business units and drive our operational teams to offer more, and better, as part of our submissions.
This will come to form an important part of a bigger initiative to look at uplifting our designs, copy-writing, management techniques and relationships with all parts of the business. Working closely with the Head of Bids and all other parts of the team, the candidate will be an enthusiastic and tenacious character who wants to be part of a developing and growing team.
You will be prepared to contribute to new initiatives and be adaptable to the shifting requirements of a business, dealing with very different needs across its component parts.
Experience with Maintenance & Repairs is essential
My client was founded 30 years ago, and has excelled to become one of the leading Main Contractors in London.
Their Business Plan is simple and based around repeat business for a core base of strategic clients, namely within the Public Sector and serving commercial fit out, social housing, education, heritage, public buildings, healthcare, retail, residential and leisure Clients.
They deliver planned repairs and maintenance (not new build) in various forms, including but not limited to void or occupied dwelling refurbishments, FRA, cyclical decorations, retrofit and restoration of Heritage or Conservation assets.
