Bid Management Specialist

A leading bid management firm, Bid Solutions, is seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to join its team. The Proposal Manager will be responsible for overseeing the bid process for real estate and facilities management clients. This role involves managing the proposal development process, storyboarding, editing, and writing. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently on bids with turnaround times ranging from 2-8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire proposal development and presentation process from start to finish.
- Develop, edit, format, and proof all proposal and presentation deliverables to ensure high-quality output.
- Attend preparation sessions for all opportunities to ensure best practice is followed.
- Support senior proposal managers on larger bids and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Contribute to new content development efforts and strategic firm initiatives as needed.
- Upload all final deliverables to the proposal and presentation libraries for easy access.
- Perform pursuit close-out activities and work with the knowledge management team to ensure revised and new content is uploaded to the content library.
- Support the upkeep of the content library, including improvements to searchability and organization.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in the real estate or facilities management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate, coordinate, and respond to global and regional requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization, including senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; InDesign and desktop publishing skills are a plus.
- Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce is highly desirable.
