Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our team as a Community Midwife. As a key member of the South Lakes Birth Centre team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality maternity services.
  • Providing routine and complex midwifery care to pregnant women, new mothers, and their families.
  • Ensuring seamless care pathways by working closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • Delivering educational programs to support women's health and well-being.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Midwife with current registration with the NMC and a valid driving license. You should also have evidence of ongoing professional development and a degree in a relevant field.
