We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team at Cumbria Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients outside of regular hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the scope of professional practice, diagnosing and discharging patients with minimal input from medical practitioners.
  • Practice as an autonomous practitioner, taking accurate histories, assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, and implementing patient-centered plans of care.
  • Deliver safe, effective evidence-based care and advice to ease patient problems, promoting improving health through education and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate, concise documentation, reporting any adverse incidents or near-miss events through agreed systems.
Person Specification
  • Significant post-registration experience (minimum 3 years) in a relevant field, preferably in acute or primary care settings.
  • Evidence of good practice, leadership skills, and non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • First-level professional registration and graduate degree with honors.
